After many days of tension and anxiety in the United States of America on who was going to lead the country for the next four years, Joe Biden was finally projected as the new President elect and is set to be sworn in on January next year.
It however seems like Donald Trump is not going to cooperate as far as a peaceful transition is concerned because he is on record insisting that the election was not legitimate.
He has already began the process of taking the whole issue to court as he seeks to have Biden's win an-nulled.
Republicans and other allies of President Trumo are however not taking Trump's decision of not conceding defeat, they have instead warned him of what might happen if he does not concede defeat to Biden. As established by the Star today, Trump has now been warned that he will tarnish his legacy completely if he fails to concede to Biden.
They have also weaned him that he risks destroying his political future especially if he might be considering having another stab at the presidency in 2024. According to the Republicans, Trump would have a difficult time in 2024 if he chooses to view for office since he will be seen as a soar loser something that has never happened in the United States of America.
The task of convincing him to concede defeat is now left to his son in law Jared Kushner and his Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
