You are not Alone, We are there for you, Obuasi Facebookers Association to children at Adullam Orphanage

Obuasi Facebookers Association, on Christmas day, made a donation to the Adullam Orphanage in Obuasi. The group which started less than a year ago on the Social Media platform, Facebook, has over 15,000 members. The membership consists of individuals who are living in Obuasi or have ever lived in Obuasi.
The donation was made possible through the contributions of the group members. The project was named “Operation Touch my Life”. The items donated included food items and toiletries. The total cost of the items amounted to GHc1,900.
The Founder of the group, Emmanuel Bapie, popularly known as Baps, revealed that the group wanted the children at Adullam Orphanage to know that they are not alone and they have the support of the group.
“Most of the time, people go the extra mile to help when a person is no more, help the family or support funeral. I believe we need to help whiles they are alive (but) not when dead” he said.
“We want them (Adullam orphanage) to feel special and know that they are not left alone but rather they have some unknown brothers and sisters elsewhere” he added.
Below are some pictures of the donation.
